Sadece parçaları yanlış kullanıyorsun. Kasıtlı olsun ya da olmasın, sinir bozucu - ve bir hata. Unicode karakterlerin açık bir anlamı vardır. BTW: Terminalimde beklendiği gibi görünüyor (yanlış!). Birisi ters çevrilmiş bir terminal kullandığından, "Beyaz Satranç Piyonu" adlı bir parçayı siyah olarak atmayın. Eğer öyleyse, konum böyle olmalıdır. Elbette kodunuz ve kararınız. Bu kodu, bu durumda hiçbir şey için kullanmazdım.

Talihsiz ve acımasız olduğuna katılıyorum, ancak terminal yapılandırmanız tipik değil. Ters renkler, tüm ortak platformlarda standart olarak bulunur: Ubuntu, Mac OSX, Windows. Herhangi bir çözümünüz varsa, bu ışık açık terminaller için işlerin daha iyi çalışmasını sağlarsa, bunu tartışmaktan memnuniyet duyarım.
