ImageMagick, 72 dpi varsayılan yoğunluğa kadar görüntüleri tuval çözünürlüklerine kadar ayırır.

Çok yüksek bir raster yoğunluğu kullanmak, büyük boyutlu tuvallerde bir performans sorunu olabilir. En düşük ve ideal tarama yoğunluğu: raster_density = raster_size / original_size * original_density

Bu ideal tarama yoğunluğu, görüntüyü doğrudan beklenen boyuta çıkarır ( -resizegerekli değildir). Ancak kayan noktalı sayı yaklaşımları olabileceğinden, piksel mükemmel sonuç için biraz daha yüksek bir değer ve yeniden boyutlandırma önerilir.

ImageMagick'in yüzde kaçışlarını kullanarak orijinal boyut ve yoğunluk elde edebilirsiniz :
